Raven Cliff Falls
I hiked the Raven Cliff Falls trail June of 2015 and I’ve been wanting to go back ever since. The trail is located in North Georgia near the city of Helen. The address is Raven Cliff Falls Trail Cleveland, GA 30528. It is a round-trip hike of 5 miles with minimal elevation. Grab a good pair of closed toed shoes, a bathing suit ( if it’s summer time ), and a water bottle or two and you’re good to go.
It may seem like quite a lengthy hike, but the 5 mile round trip goes fast because a majority of the trail is flat and on top of that it literally feels like you are walking through a rainforest. Even on a 100 degree Georgia day the trees and waterfall filled trail will stay pretty cool.
Throughout the trail, there is many little waterfalls scattered about, but the main one you are hiking to is I would say is 30 feet tall and is falling between two rocks, with a swimming hole beneath.
Definitely, a great place to satisfy your craving for natural beauty. It’s a great place for photography too if that’s what you’re into. Overall loved hiking here and would definitely go back
